Even the most generic sneakerheads will be able to understand the excitement of ‘Yeezy Day’ as a countdown on the Yeezy Supply Website ticked down the days, hours and minutes until August 2nd arrived. In fact, this is the very same date that the Deadstock Release Event got the green light all the way back in 2019! The entire event has been rebranded in light of 2021 and the rumour mill has been well and truly lit as sneakerheads have spent weeks speculating over which sneakers may be getting a restock or whether they’ll be any brand-new colourways to cop.

Even as ‘Yeezy Day’ passes us by once again, it’s safe to say that the excitement hasn’t dwindled as sneakerheads are well and truly buzzed about the details that dropped throughout the day. The event went live at 7am ET and so many new releases rolled in with each passing hour that it was difficult to keep up with the demand! The first kicks to launch were the Yeezy Foam Runner MX “Cream Clay” colourway followed by two limited restocks of familiar favourites: the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Tail Light” and the Yeezy 700 V3 “Azael”.

As expected, stocks didn’t stick around for long as Yeezy superfans and sneakerheads alike battled it out for a chance to get their hands on some of these highly anticipated colourways. Back in 2019, around 30 different Yeezy colourways were given this VIP treatment and the roaring success of ‘Yeezy Day’ 2021 only goes to show that Adidas certainly pulled out all the stops once again.

Here’s a full rundown of all the sneakers that have been released or restocked:

  • Yeezy Boost 700 “Mauve”
  • Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra”
