Nike has gone full stealth with a brand-new colourway for the Jordan Delta, suitably named the “Triple Black”.
Featuring the brand’s patented React-cushioning, the Delta silhouette fuses basketball-focused design specs with streetwear-friendly style to bring a shoe that in future could very well challenge the Air Jordan range as the go-to style for b-ball-loving sneakerheads.
For this particular colourway Jordan Brand have kept it simple, opting for jet-black throughout. The shoe’s uppers are made from a mixture of materials, including a heavy-duty suede, nubuck and nylon that add a contrast of texture to the aesthetic.
The sock-like fitting on the shoe’s attractive uppers, combined with the airy, lightweight foam underfoot gives the Delta a weightless feel when worn, making it a great choice for gym-goes or those looking for some ultra-light, uber-comfortable footwear for playing sports.
European sneakerheads will be disappointed to learn this particular colourway will only be released stateside, although those desperate to cop a pair should be able to pick some up on the secondary market. However, as is usually the case with Jordan Brand footwear, you’ll need to pay a premium as they’re sure to be popular.
