From Vans to Golden Goose, Here’s What Sneakers the Drivers of Formula 1 Wore to the Belgium Grand Prix Media Day

Just before we hit the 2024 Formula One summer break, the drivers arrived in style to the Belgian Grand Prix. Thursdays are known as media days during race week and on the 25^th of July we spotted the drivers wearing some awesome sneakers in the paddock! So, let’s take a look at how stylish Formula One drivers really are…

Daniel Ricciardo – Vans

Daniel Ricciardo was spotted sporting the classic Vans Old Skool sneakers walking through the Paddock on Thursday. Combining comfort with their timeless design, the Vans Old Skool sneaker seem to be a go-to staple for the Australian driver. As well as Vans, Daniel is also often spotted wearing various sneaker brands such as Nike, Asics, and Puma.

Lando Norris – Golden Goose

Up next, we have McLaren driver, Lando Norris. The British racing driver was spotted this week wearing a pair of Golden Goose sneakers. Now, this isn’t the first time we have seen Lando wearing these, they seem to be a current favourite of his. As well as Golden Goose, we have also seen Lando sport Nike’s, Alexander McQueen’s, and on race days, the K-Swiss x McLaren Aero-Active sneakers which are exclusive to the McLaren and K-Swiss stores.

George Russell – Puma

Mercedes driver, George Russell was spotted wearing a pair of classic Puma sneakers. Now, although the sneaker style wasn’t officially confirmed, to us they looked like the Icra sneakers in the Peacoat and White colourway. As well as Puma, we also recognise Russell wearing brands like Tommy Hilfiger, however, Puma seems to be Russell’s staple sneaker brand this season more than likely due to a partnership.

Other drivers like Lewis Hamilton were recently spotted wearing boots from brands such as Dior, Prada, and Timberland. He sometimes gives us a glimpse of his upcoming sneaker collaboration with Dior. Lewis is the epitome of a fashion king. His endless style has brought us some amazing looks each race week, so we cannot wait for this launch from Dior and Hamilton.
