A few weeks ago, we saw the premier of one of the most talked about movie’s there has ever been. It’s been a while now so you can’t be mad if there are spoilers!
The new spiderman movie has been huge no matter where you are. Everyone has been talking about it, coming up with many rumours and conspiracies for the movie even before it was released. Having seen the movie I can say that it wasn’t anything short of disappointing following the huge anticipation that it had leading up to it’s release.
The film follows on from the previous Spiderman far from home, where Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) has fought with Mysterio. After defeating him a billboard near him starts showing a broadcast done by Mysterio that has been edited showing Peter/Spiderman to have brutally killed Mysterio. Upon this everyone then thought that Spiderman was a bad guy and to top it all off, Mysterio also showed Peter’s face for the world to see.
The new movie carries on from this and Peter is faced with the issue that everyone knows who he is and thinks he is a bad guy. Because of this he decides to go to Dr.Strange and ask him to do a spell that will make people forget who he is, all of those apart from a select few. However, Peter keeps changing the spell until it fails.
We then later find out that due to the spell going wrong, there has been villains from other spider man universes that have ended up in Tom Hollands. After being introduced to the villains it wasn’t long for the moment, we had all been waiting for. We were all extremely happy to see that Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire were also going to be joining Tom to fight against the villains in a spectacular moment that will remain in our hearts forever.
I don’t quite think I have ever experienced anything like that through a film and I don’t think I ever will again. It was absolutely amazing, and the film was executed perfectly.
