The new uncharted movie is finally here! Having gone through many directors the upcoming video game adaptation is arriving in cinemas this month. The film stars Spider-Man star Tom Holland who plays Nathan Drake. Joining him in his adventure is Mark Walhburg, who plays Drake’s mentor Sully.

The movie will also be coming to Netflix, thanks to a new deal. Netflix has exclusive rights to stream Sony’s theatrical releases, which includes Uncharted, Venom 2, and Morbius. These movies will not be on Netflix at the same time as they are showing in the theatres, you can expect them to be up on the platform within a two-year period after its release.

Tom Holland also took to Instagram to promote the new film, with a new poster for it. The poster features Tom clinging to a rustic structure and the background features an almost video game looking background, with bright vibrant colours and almost animated scenery. This is one of the many things that has got fans talking about the new Uncharted film and many can’t wait to see it on the big screen.

Tom Holland is becoming the world hero with his previous appearance as Spider-Man, and some may say that this movie may be his favourite, as Tom had spoken about the Uncharted game while back, stating it was his favourite game and now he plays the main character in the movie adaptation, isn’t he having a great time at the moment!

The new Spider-Man film he stars in is also on the verge of overtaking avatar to be the all-time highest domestic film. The film has quickly passed the likes of The Dark Knight, which is Warner Bros highest grossing film ever with $534.8 million. It is now set on overtaking Avatars domestic, which would put the movie behind The Avengers: Endgame and Star Wars The Force Awakens with their $858.3 million and $936.6 million hauls. What makes this so impressive is that the film was derailed by a small fallout between Sony and Marvel back in 2019, this is probably a sure sign that there will be no more talk of parting ways in the future.
