The best of the Air Max “Bubble Pack”

All of Nike’s Air Max silos are seeing a revolution in the fashion world with their new vibrant colourways. To celebrate the success, Nike have dropped the new “Bubble Pack” for the Air Max 90’s 30th Anniversary.

The air bubble tech has always been the cornerstone of the Air Max silos, creating cushioning soleplates that have added to the aesthetic as much as they have the comfort of these great looking trainers.

Ever since the dawn of the AM line back in 1990 we’ve seen literally thousands of unique colourways. From the classic white and black looks to the rainbow coloured designs. In the new “Bubble Pack” the Air Max 90, 98, 200, 720 and 270 react have all been given a new makeover with the bubble-wrap chic look in two unique colourways.

The new colourways help honour the glistening bubble sheen that has always been the focus point of the Air Max aesthetic. Here, we’ve selected the best of the bunch.

Air Max 90

The 90 pays homage to the Tinker Hatfield model which also celebrates thirty years on the scene. Instead of the usual mesh covering of the upper an iridescent, bubble wrap theme has been deployed which wraps the toe box, tongue and collar, spread around the white base with white soleplate.

Air Max 200

For the 200 silo Nike ramp up the bubble shapes with iridescent overlays across the white base. The tongue is covered in minute bubbles and the soleplate Air Max bubble tech is given a blue/green hue.

Air Max 270 React

The hybrid lifestyle footwear has the perfect base for the bubble aesthetic with the complete globular heel cup. Known as the lemon white, the React 270 has the mini bubbles of the 200 on the lace tabs and tongue as well as the multi coloured bubble on the heel. The iridescent colouring is used sparingly across the upper, including the swoosh.
