This YEEZY look, that dropped back in February, reminds us all of a better time when the world wasn’t in the midst of a global pandemic and we could see our friends and family without all these rules and regulations.
Since then we’ve had plenty of YEEZY drops, all of which have been slightly harder to get our hands on due to the closure of many retail stores and having to rely solely on online sales.
The Tail Light colourway would have been the perfect summer look to grace the streets with. But unfortunately it may have to wait until 2021 to get a full summer outing where it can show its full potential. A lot of EEZY 350 V2s will drop between now and then, but we think this is a strong enough colourway to stand the test of time and still hold up as a strong sneaker choice in a yeas time and even further.
Let’s take a look at the design in question. The main appeal of the Boost 350 V2 silhouette is the unique colourways of the Primeknit upper and the comfort of the BOOST midsole tech. In the Tail Light, the upper is a nearly complete light grey colour scheme with a slightly offset grey for the sidestripe which turns into a vibrant orange for the back half of the shoe. This orange colouring is also merged into the heel tab for a vibrant pop of colour across an otherwise muted colour scheme.
The Tail Light is completed with a complete grey midsole and outsole for a minimalist look that fits nicely into all rotations.
The look was an instant sell out – I know surprise, surprise right? A YEEZY shoe sells out on release – but you can still get a hold of pairs on the resale market and we’re all still keeping our ears to the ground for any news of restocks.
