There’s no doubt that the Yeezy Boost 380 silhouette has struggled to propel itself into the limelight in the same way that the 350 V2 has done as the sneakers just haven’t hit the spot in quite the way Ye and his team intended. But as the world begins to reopen once again, there’s an abundance of Yeezy Boost 380 colourways set to release from the Yeezy brand that we’re certainly looking forwards to. One iteration that was leaked not too long ago features earthy tones that are all too familiar.
Just like every other 380 before it, this colourway makes use of a primeknit upper that morphs to the shape of the foot with its sock-like fit. The colour palette renders in brown and tan in a busy print that you’ll either love or hate. Elsewhere, the colourway stays true to the earthy tones with light coloured laces and a dark brown sole which manage to imitate the shades along the upper to form a sophisticated collaboration. It’s the elasticated collar that sports a darker hue, however this design decision is quite successful as it manages to complement the rough texture of the sneaker for an earth-conscious finish we’re quite familiar with, but are a fan of nonetheless.
So far we’ve only managed to get a sneak peek at this upcoming colourway as even it’s name remains a secret. If the past is anything to go by then this Yeezy Boost 380 should be a roaring success as it seems like sneakerheads are quite fond of the brown and tan colour palette that Ye and his team keep referring back to. Set to be released later in the year, you’ll need to be quick to add these to your rotation.
