Although Euro 2020 is definitely going to be postponed due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the likes of Nike and adidas are still going ahead, it seems, with Euro themed boot releases set to drop in the summer.
One of those drops is a collection called the ‘Uniforia’ Pack that was set to light up stadiums for the European knockout tournament with brand new colourways for the Nemeziz, Predator and X silos. The Copa will also be featured but we are yet to see a leak of what that silo is gong to look like.
Adidas would have been working on this pack for a long time. Not only do they have a large share of the kit deals for the tournament, the games at the Euros are watched by millions of people all over the world, so making sure their boots are out on the pitch as much as possible is key to getting every young boy and girl hooked on the beautiful game and begging parents for their favourite boots by years’ end.
The ‘Uniforia’ pack is a crisp, white/black/multi-coloured design, unique to each of the four boot silos.
Nemeziz
For the Nemeziz look adidas have gone for a clean white base with a scratch design of phosphorescent green and blue across the bottom half of the entire upper. Black three stripe branding is shifted back from its usual spot along the outside of the foot to wrap around the heel. Laced and laceless sock constructions will be available.
Predator
For the Predator, the white based features a fiery red and yellow design in similar positioning to the Nemeziz but the change in colour creates a much hotter look. The grip bubbles across the toebox which have become featured more often on the Predator stand out with a bold red colouring whilst the red/yellow colour scheme on the side is given a more muted smudge aesthetic with the black three stripe cutting through the middle of it.
X
The X is the closest to an all white colourway with just a teasing of shock pink featuring on the toebox, creeping ever so slightly up the outside of the foot. The blackout three stripe branding features across the top of the foot on the X, wrapping more around the toe. With a clean white soleplate and stud configuration the X will definitely be a crystal clear standout on the green grass.
