Since its introduction back in 1997, the AJ13 silhouette has been one of the true icons of the Air Jordan collections.
With its new-age design specs and bold colour schemes, the legendary model was revolutionary for its time, and it remains to this day one of the most popular collections, holding a place in the hearts of sneakerheads far and wide.
Over the years there have been countless iterations of the AJ13, and one of the most celebrated was the “Flint” colourway, which helped propel the silhouette into the realm of superstardom.
Scheduled to be the last colourway worn on court by MJ, the “Flint” was replaced at the last minute in favour of a different shoe, however the makeup still went down as a classic, and to this day any AJ13 featuring the five-letter F-word is guaranteed to get our attention.
Things are no different this time around, as we await the arrival of the upcoming Air Jordan 13 “Red Flint” that’s scheduled to arrive in early May. Dressed in a tri-colour red, white and grey outfit, the forthcoming offering features the shoe’s customary dimpled mesh uppers coupled with a clean leather base and suede panelling on the midsole.
Completing the look underfoot is a black rubber outsole, which puts the icing on the cake of this new iteration and ensures adequate grip whether you’re flexing them on or off the court.
