Images of the Retro Air Jordan 1 “”Natural Grey” Surface Online

2021 promises to be one of the hottest years on record for the evergreen Air Jordan 1 silhouette, with an avalanche of fresh new looks ready to arrive in the coming months.

But despite the embarrassment of riches present on Jordan Brand’s 2021 release schedule, for the retro-lovers there’s one look in particular that’s really got us purring with excitement. That is, of course, the Air Jordan 1 “Neutral Grey”, a nostalgia-inducing re-release of a sneaker we were first introduced to more than 30 years ago way back in 1985!

Rumours of the reissue first began to circulate on social media last year, and although Nike have yet to make an official announcement, leaked product shots which surfaced online suggest this is the worst kept secret in the world – we certainly hope so, anyway!

The images show a shoe that displays all the retro design specs of the AJ1s from that era, with higher ankle collars and the classic Air Jordan hang tag ensuring this one feels like it’s arrived inside an 80s time capsule.

With subtle shades of white and grey throughout, this is an understated shoe, which is unsurprising given the era the original was released. For our money though, this one will be the hottest property in 2021.

Although the shoe is yet to be officially announced, some rumours suggest it’ll arrive on February 10th, although as ever you should take that with a pinch of salt. We’ll be sure to keep you updated whenever any official news drops.
