If you haven’t heard the news yet then brace yourself because Nike Sportswear are planning to debut the “Yellow Strike” edition of the Dunk Low and launch this exciting colourway alongside it’s “Purple Pulse” iteration! With release day nearing, we’re taking a closer look at this upcoming combination, which merges a white base with a subtle yet noticeable shade of yellow to outstanding execution, and we can certainly see what all the fuss is about!
A closer look at this pair reveals an acid-wash upper that combines White and Yellow which features proudly across the shoes’ overlay and tongue label. This offers a subtle infusion of that yellow shade that features across the silhouette in order to create a summer look that will be completing one or two outfits over the next few months! The signature Nike Swoosh is crafted from a bright yellow shade of suede for an interesting take on the Dunk Low that we’re certainly not hating and the entire design is built on top of a leather white base. It’s this latter decision that gives the “Yellow Strike” an air of sophistication and the right to demand attention. Nike have opted for the yellow suede in other places too including the tongue, heel branding and insoles and, to finish the look, the outsole adopts a pastel hue that shakes things up to perfection.
A release for the Nike Dunk Low “Yellow Strike” is planned for July 30th in women’s sizing and these must-have kicks will be dropping with both Nike.com and select retailers. As the perfect summer ensemble, it’s expected that sneakerheads will be begging for an opportunity to add these beauties to their rotation, so ladies – you’ll need to be quick on the mouse clicker to stand a chance!
