Virgil Abloh is arguably the hottest name in the business right now. Everything the Off-White honcho touches turns to gold, so it’s no surprise to see he’ll be continuing his collaborations with Nike this year, with a number of exciting designs for 2021 in the pipeline already.
Some of those were revealed during a recent digital experience, lunched to celebrate Abloh’s upcoming ICONS publication and give sneakerheads a sneak peek of what’s to come in the near future. Fans of the designer’s Nike iterations will not be disappointed!
A scroll bar at the bottom of the website allows browsers to skip through the entire Off-White “The Ten” collection and beyond, teasing six new styles for a range of silhouettes including the Nike Air Force 1 model, as well as the Futura Dunks and a yellow/black variant of the “Boston” AF1.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, the domain also features a countdown timer, which is due to expire on January 14 (15:39 UK time), along with a brand tutorial dubbed “FREE GAME” and an address that mysteriously leads to a Chicago hotel. Although Abloh had a colossal 2020, it’s clear he has no intention of taking his foot off the gas this year, which can only be great news for us sneakerheads. But each of his releases flying off the shelves quicker than the last, it can be difficult copping some of the more exclusive styles.
