Ye Goes Reflective with an Update to the Yeezy Boost 380 “Onyx”

You may remember the Yeezy Boost 380 “Onyx” from back in 2019 – well now it’s back again, only this time it’s reflective!

After first landing in the “Alien” colourway, the Yeezy Boost 380 – which was initially intended as the successor to the 350 V2 before that idea was scraped and it received its own product line – has become one of Ye’s most popular silhouettes.

Lately, this line has been the main point of focus for the Yeezy design team, with many of the recent and upcoming releases taking the shape of the 380. Well, next up is a stunning reflective version of last year’s “Onyx” which is great news for anyone who fell in love with the original.

At first glance, the update appears to follow the same blueprint as the first, with an understated black Primeknit upper with flecks of white refusing to deviate too much from the look of the original. Under closer inspection though, you’ll notice a reflective finish which shimmers once it catches light, giving this colourway some new perspective and justifying this re-release.

Down below it’s pretty much as you were, with a full bed of Boost encased in a semi-translucent chunky midsole mated to a natural, sandy coloured tread underneath. As ever, when you make your purchase you know you’re getting a shoe that looks the part and guarantees comfort.

The Yeezy Boost 380 “Onyx” Reflective was released on Black Friday. If you didn’t manage to get your hands on a pair, then head over to the Laced.co.uk resale market where they stock this colourway in a range of sizes.
