Nothing hits the quarantine blues quite like a Yeezy release and luckily for us Yeezy and adidas are ensuring the releases keep on flowing whilst we remain shut up behind closed doors, flexing our footwear to the cat, rather than in the outside world where they belong.
The next release in the Yeezy calendar is the “Flax”, a look that resides somewhere between the “Antlia” and the “Citrin” for a unique colouring that is sure to slide into everyone’s rotation smoother than hot butter – which is a name that could definitely be considered for this colourway.
Cream is a versatile colour, just ask anyone who’s ever painted a bedroom. And the cream tone opted for in the new “Flax” design is definitely going to make for a versatile trainer option. The entire Primeknit upper, along with mesh side stripe across the lateral side is douses entirely in beige colouring, which is injected with a slightly grey addition to bring out that famous 350 material design.
The construction is streamlined by removing the heel tab and the ribbed, gum outsole containing the legendary Boost tech is given a grey makeover through the midsole and is surrounded by cream outsole, reaching up the toe and the heel of the shoe for an encompassed soleplate aesthetic.
This is a Yeezy aesthetic that is going to drop later on in 2020 so keep your eyes open for a release date. It’s a look that is going to fit nicely into rotation with some other Yeezy classics like the “Cinder” and/or “Tail Light”.
